Capybara’s Introduction
We would like to introduce the two capybaras at cafe capyba!
They look very similar (?), but their personalities are quite different. You’ll easily spot the differences when you see them at the cafe!

KOHAKU
Kohaku is larger

A Day in the Life of Kohaku and Pisuke
Wake up
Breakfast
They eat a lot of fresh vegetables from the morning.
Bath
They take a relaxing bath in slightly warm water.
First session starts
The cafe opens at this time. They relax on the sofa, sleep, or enjoy snacks from customers.
Lunch break
First rest period. They lie down on the sofa or floor or go to the bathroom.
Second session starts
They continue resting on the sofa, get petted by customers, or eat snacks. This is when Capybaras start becoming a bit more active.
Evening break
A second bathroom break. They eat pellets and play with the staff. They sometimes take a bath, too.
Third session starts
The evening is their most energetic time. They run around inside the café and eat snacks.
Close
Dinner
After closing, it’s dinner time. They eat cabbage, komatsuna (Japanese mustard spinach), sometimes apples or corn, and other sweet things. Dry hay is also provided so they can eat during the night.
Sleep
After a full day, they say goodnight and rest.
